Leslie Vaughan Simmons

Leslie Vaughan Simmons began her real estate career early by working at a real estate closing firm while still in college in 1994. Her interest in real estate law flowed naturally from that experience. She now devotes an extensive portion of her practice to real estate closings and real estate law.

In her own practice since 2003, she is highly motivated to provide clients with a friendly atmosphere and professional representation that they can count on.

A Georgia native, she earned her B.S. in chemistry in 1995 from the Georgia Institute of Technology and her J.D. in 2000 from the Georgia State University College of Law.

After law school, she worked as law clerk for Judges Shephard Howell, Jefferson L. Davis Jr. and Tom Pope. During her term as law clerk, the District was implementing a mediation program in which she became interested. Trained in basic civil mediation, domestic relations mediation, domestic violence, juvenile mediation, deprivation mediation, probate and arbitration, she continues to conduct approximately 4-5 mediations per week.

Leslie is admitted to practice law in Georgia and is a member of the Cartersville-Bartow County Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia.
